These are two great true local sports stories - Capturing Our Hearts is about the 2003 Saugus American All-Star team and Spartan AC is about the 1980 Brockton Spartan Athletic Club. Sports Playbook Publishing publishes sports related books that focus on amateur and youth sports. Sports Playbook Publishing was founded in 1995 when Fantasy Sports began to attract sports enthusiasts. Recognizing the need to provide up to date information for those who would engage in the soon to become Fantasy Sports craze, Sports Playbook Publishing created one of the first Fantasy Sports magazines on the market. Realizing that most media and books focus on sports at the professional level it was clear that there was a void in materials related to youth sports. In June, 2008 Sports Playbook Publishing released "Spartan AC: An American Legion Baseball Team United Through Adversity" that was directed to sports enthusiasts of all ages throughout the United States.
