How did you get into publishing?

Instead of finding what we needed on the market, we created our own Fantasy Sports Magazine and from there we strove to produce media that we could not find on the market.

How can we work together on a project to get a commemorative book going for my organization?

Contact our publisher at vdinunno@sportsplaybookpub.com and he can go over the details.

Can a small publisher do a comparable job to a publisher in most aspects of the publishing process?

I think a hungry publisher can do at least as good a job, if not better than a publisher in virtually all aspects. Because they have the luxury of being able to focus on their one book, which a publisher can’t, they can definitely do a better job in the marketing and promotion arenas. We are available to help those wanting to get their book out there for those looking to generate an above average distribution or those in a niche market.

With the focus being sports books how will you market it to get this book read?

We will use an Internet-based approach that involved several steps. We will target sports editors, radio stations, newspapers, magazines, and television. We also focus on fundraising organizations to sell books and get a portion of the proceeds to get the word out on our book. We will look towards non standard retail locations like sports outlets, grocery stores, convenience stores, and pharmacies. We also assist our author's in shooting for book awards, land book reviews, blurbs, mentions, promotions involved with sports teams and broaden our market.

How can I get more information on selling your books for my organization and how much can we make?

Under the Media/Fundraising section of the website there is information for organizations who receive a percentage of sales. Under this agreement 30% goes directly to the charity for a win-win situation for everyone.

If I have an idea for a story that is along the same lines as what you are writing. Can I work with you on a project and what would I get for it?

Yes, how much you get depends on how much involvement you need. From designers, to editors, to ghost writers, to printers these things cost money and take away from your bottom line.
